Brownbag Productions offers a wide variety of natural history stock video footage. All of our video is acquired by experienced naturalist/videographers with both content and technical expertise. Dick Walton is the author of numerous articles and books on natural history and has a special interest in birds, butterflies, and dragonflies. He is the originator and co-author of the "Birding by Ear" audio tapes and CDs in Houghton Mifflin's "Peterson Field Guides" as well as the producer of natural history DVDs including "Henry David Thoreau - Speaking for Nature" and "The New World Tropics - An Introduction for Naturalists."
Greg Dodge is a photographer, videographer, and naturalist whose images have been published in a variety of national and local journals as well as in museum displays. Greg is the co-author and producer of the DVD field guides "Common Dragonflies and Damselflies of Eastern North America," "Common Butterflies and Skippers of Eastern North America," "Hawk Watch," "Shorebirds," as well as the author and producer of "Exploring The Nature Around You" and "Birds & Bugs" in The Catbird Series of DVDs. We presently use Canon digital cameras and offer broadcast quality media. Digital source material in combination with the latest firewire technology and digital duplication processes allows us to provide first generation quality video. Brownbag Productions specializes in footage from North America and Central America. Because we are familiar with the natural history content we can offer expertise not available from most stock footage agencies. We will be happy to discuss your needs, make suggestions if asked, and assure that you acquire the appropriate video. We invite you to contact us.
